PLS-NA's facility will have a FBE coating plant integrated with pipe manufacturing.  In this process, pipe is induction heated prior to application of epoxy powder at the specified thickness. FBE is typically a single layer coating system and is widely accepted in the US because of its excellent adhesion, flexibility, and a marked resistance to cathodic disbondment.
