Integral to PSLNA's facility is its jointing capability.  Although the mill is capable of full 80 foot pipe lengths, to minimize waste, jointing will be done to shorter lengths generated during normal pipe production.

Welding on the double joint rack will be done in full compliance with API requirements through the submerged arc process.  All jointed pipe will flow back into the mill for processing through the testing units and out through final inspection station.
