Mr. Ashok Punj completed his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and Masters in System Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology located in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Mr. Punj was actively involved in the business of Industrial Insulation concentrating on the Manufacturing Segment of the business where he assisted in the setting up of several Industrial Units in collaboration with few well known international organizations. His extensive technical and managerial experience spreading to 35 years has resulted into sizable growth and success of the Company under his able guidance.
Brian J. Vaill
CEO
Brian J. Vaill is the CEO of PSL-NA. Vaill earned a B.S. degree in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. Vaill began his career in 1990 as a Process Metallurgist for Lukens Steel in Conshohocken, PA. He held various assignments in the quality control, product development, and operations departments focusing on steckel mill and heat treat processes, grades, and commissioning. From 1998 to 2000, Vaill was employed as a Project Engineer – Rolling for Ipsco Steel in Montpelier, IA focusing on steckel mill operations and commissioning. From 2000 to 2003, Vaill was employed as Manager – Primary Products Operations for Special Metals Corporation in Huntington, WV focusing on mill, forge, and plate finishing operations as well as lean manufacturing and business development for this specialty nickel alloy producer. From 2003 to 2007, Vaill held various assignments for Oregon Steel Mills in the operations and engineering departments focusing on steckel mill operations, capital projects, and Oregon’s new Spiral Pipe Mill.
John Heinemann
Chief Operations Officer
John Heinemann, COO, earned his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University and later his MBA from Florida State University. Heinemann has over twenty five years experience in pipe manufacturing and possesses a solid background in production, engineering, and maintenance. He also has extensive worldwide experience in new plant construction and start up of both spiral and longitudinal mills. He was employed fifteen years at Berg Steel Pipe Corporation and left there in 1997 after serving seven years as Vice President Operations. From 1997 until 2001 Heinemann was employed as Managing Director - COO at Southeast Asia Pipe Industries (SEAPI) in Jakarta, Indonesia. Since leaving SEAPI, he has installed and started up pipe mills in Egypt, Russia and the U.S. Most recently, he was responsible for the installation and start up as Pipe Mill Manager of the spiral pipe mill of Evraz-Oregon Steel Mills, in Portland, Oregon.
Stephen E. Oyler
Vice President Sales and Marketing
Steve comes to PSL North America with a Bachelors degree in Business from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT. He has over 30 years in the steel industry beginning his career with U.S. Steel Geneva Works as a metallurgist. Assignments with USX began with the Large Diameter DSAW pipe mill and ERW pipe mill. Additional assignments were with their Hot Rolled Strip/Plate mill, Structural mill, QBOP and Open Hearth steel melting facilities and Quality Assurance Department. With Geneva Steel, Steve moved into marketing and became the Director of Pipe sales combining his business degrees with his metallurgical and quality assurance training. In 1999 he was employed as Regional Sales Manager/Tubular Division for Northwest Pipe in Portland, OR over their small diameter API pipe mill. In 2005 he moved to Napa Pipe/Oregon Steel as Sales Manager with their Large Diameter DSAW pipe mill in Napa, CA. After Napa Pipe closed he moved to Houston, TX where he worked with Jindal SAW Ltd., as their Vice President of Pipe Sales and Marketing.
Rhonda Ladner
Human Resources Manager
Rhonda Ladner is the Human Resources Manager for PSL-North America. Ms. Ladner has over 21 years experience in manufacturing. She comes to PSL with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from William Carey College located in Biloxi, Mississippi. Although Ms. Ladner majored in accounting, most of her work experience has been in the field of Human Resources. In 2003 she earned her PHR certification.
